ReplyDeleteAgain, good content … it would be helpful here (and with your other one) to begin by stating the topic (passing tones in this case) at the beginning so that we know what the point is/where to direct our attention the most. Regarding your question about whether the C in the I chord is a chordal seventh or an embellishing tone, I’m not sure; I’d have to look at the larger context to be able to determine that.
